  1. Proved what we already knew. A lukewarm club banger was never gonna save her. The song has zero staying power.
  2. It is baffling when declining artists assume that targeting a specific demographic with uninspired dance music will reverse their commercial downturn. This is not... it. I'm hoping the rest of the album takes a different sonic route.

The mere fact that they're talking about a long-term plan makes it clear that they know nothing or have no idea how Rihanna operates. I can't imagine they've set up a long-term rollout schedule for the album. I refuse to believe that the new album (whenever it comes) will be released through a traditional rollout (announcements, single releases, the album coming after the lead single, etc) instead of just dropping it all at once.
  4. Let's be real. No matter what she releases, no one is going to say the 10-year wait was worth it.

Not gonna lie. That performance gave me goosebumps! I just got my biggest dopamine hit of the year... but I'm not getting my hopes up for a release sooner or later this year.

    I screamed!
  9. Then brace yourself, because you're going to see it more and more everywhere, not just in Eurovision.
  10. Y E S PLEASE It's so refreshing to see an unexpected winner, even more so a first-time winner. I don't really feel the song, but I'm glad we left behind the pretentious operatic songs. I still can't believe Finland missed the top 5. I'm not surprised by Greece. After we saw the full staging, it was over for them. I was even wondering if they could actually break into the top 10. Well... they did. It was probably the most boring ESC music-wise. I can't imagine listening to any of the songs again. And the main reason for all this downgrade over the years is the recycling of the same teams over and over again. Same composers, lyricists, and stage directors. We need new blood. Enough with the same people trying to calculate the "perfect" Eurovision song. We need songs that are NOT WRITTEN for ESC.
  11. Countries competing for only 8 spots in the top 10 is getting to be a running joke at this point. Something's got to change.
  12. CONGRATS BULGARIA! I'm happy I was wrong!
  13. Nope, I can't. Even Bulgaria's economy and political climate just left the chat thinking about that.
  14. I know that, but still, it's the jury we're talking about. Their pretentiousness has a strict lower limit. They won't go below that bar, if you know what I mean.
