It only took a tour anouncement and suddenly Renaissance is surging on streaming Charts again. Seeing how the Grammys are this weekend and how Bey will either win big (AOTY) or lose big, she'll be certainly all over the news again -> generating even more publicity.

No I’m not surprised. The album has done well and would’ve done much better had it gotten more of a steady push. Anyone denying either of those things is delusional and just wants to hate on her. Plus, tour and whatever festivities she has planned (visuals? more albums?) will help both Renaissance and her catalogue increase and stabilize even more than what the Grammys will do for it.

I'm still frustrated because she's still doing the bare minimum. RENAISSANCE could have been a MUCH bigger era but it's still funny how she's doing better than certain other girls most recent efforts 

 

Twas expected though, and with the demand for the tour, ontop of the eventual release of visuals, the album will be creeping back into the Top 10 soon. I'm hoping she gets to 20+ weeks there with it.

 

I still can't believe she's at 7.5M with the tour announcement on Instagram. We will have to fight for our lives for tickets

I don't get what she's thinking about the visuals...maybe the Grammy's?

I expected them to come during the tour announcement but clearly that wasn't it.

Majority of her fan base is extremely passive & disengaged with music. I didn’t hear 1 word about Renaissance at my place of work in the months following its release. Overnight, every basic white girl is squawking about King Bey, the common space music is all Beyoncé (pre 2013), we HAVE to go to the show, etc. No shade, she’s queen of locals. Vast majority only care now that they can snap a selfie at the shows. It’s a phenomenal album & she’s a phenomenal artist. She deserves better than the lazy bandwagon fan base she has. Let the music stand on its own without visuals & GP proves itself to have the collective brain power of 1 flea. It’s unsurprising but tragic nonetheless. Hope they’re enjoying their 1st spin of the album
