I think music labels simply realized that instead of paying for higher placements in streaming playlists that still requires an user to actually go to that playlist and play the songs, instead they can just push these songs to everyone's feeds on TikTok and be much more successful in creating viral hits. Really almost anyone can score a hit this way with the right song.

Honestly I think it's because of her voice. Europe loves raspy voices which is why all the legendary rock bands from the 70s and 80s are constantly on tour over here lol. If she ever switches to that genre it's over for everyone
