Girl you’re out here trying to sell Nwjns as some creative force in their music when its clear that their involvement is most likely minimal (considering that BTS is the only HYBE act that has some conteol in their music). 
And as already mentioned earlier, MHJ literally said that she already had the songs prepared prior to NWJns. But ofc you would ignore that to keep up this delusional premise that NWJns is some creative genius

 

I like Newjeans’s music but the Bunnies are serving Army-behavior (may be even worst) with only a fraction of BTS’ global success and musical talent. We could talk about NWJns being some creative force if they last through their current jailbait image with trendy music. 

The through-line between f(x) and Red Velvet is much more prevalent than between Red Velvet and NewJeans.  Red Flavor, Happiness, Sappy, Russian Roulette, Birthday, Huff n Puff, Pose, Lady's Room, Attaboy, Zoo, #Cookie Jar, Aitai-tai etc etc could have all been f(x) songs with little to no adjustments and worked. Ofc Red Velvet have their R&B sound which f(x) never really did, but it's crazy to associate any K-POP girl group doing R&B to Red Velvet only.

 

Idk why that user keeps on trying to push the narrative that NewJeans is a Red Velvet rip off when nobody else sees it... the only song I could see Red Velvet straight up taking with no adjustments and working would be Hurt. 

 

And yeah, @MonsterNavy is correct about NewJeans being more f(x) than Red Velvet. Both NewJeans and f(x) focus(ed) on "youth" as a part of their image, while Red Velvet literally focused on the opposite (the Velvet side being more mature/older). Like it's easier to imagine early f(x) singing Hype Boy than Red Velvet.

If there's a group new jeans kind of look like is SHINee debut  finally someone said it  (and also some of f(x)) but really nothing of RV is in NJ

 

Anyways can't wait for NJ new comeback they gained so many fans since Ditto/OMG THEIR NEXT COMEBACK WILL DO HUGE DAMAGE! especially if HYBE decides to promote in the US this time

As for the writing credits comments, it's well known for example that Yeri is on record saying she contributed lyrics to Red Flavor. But she was never credited. Wendy has also been seen acting as a vocal producer for the group on their recording behinds, but isn't credited for all that work. The industry is exploitative, but that doesn't take away from RV's talent throughout the years.
