All the larger numbered gg debuts (7+) in the past years have flopped: Kalepler, NMess, Purple Kiss

 

While 6- ggs have had great success  Aespa Ive NJs LSFM Stayc

 

Boygroups are safe atm but I think in general kpop is moving away from large groups.

I do think YG is trolling, otherwise why not tease all 10 Baemon candidates if he planned to cut the number down again anyways 

 

But if it does happen and he makes some messy special outta it, either he keeps them as 7 or 1-2 members get dungeon'd for the next YG GG... though they could suddenly get moved to the Black Label with the other 3 mystery trainees. No way they would make another 4 member GG right?
