aespa’s cb is a huge improvement from the train wreck that was girls era  that era felt like a worse version of savage era while this actually feels like something new and innovative for them. the video is so fun as well!  i’m listening to the mini rn but i’m enjoying it so far!

 

Girls era its music is not bad as some ppl try to make it seem tbh

 

I do think choosing Girls as the title track was a CHOICE tho, it's a good song imo, but it is literally a BG song and the gp clearly doesn't care about that kind of sound. Now, if something like Spicy was the title instead, and the rest of the songs on that EP were the same, then most people wouldn't drag it as much. Everyone would see it as a lighter, summery pop era to get another hit, with some gays calling it basic and bad bc they dropped the edgy sound, but no one would see it as the worst ******* thing that happened to them so far... you'd think they released a song like Sneakers or killed somebody's mother by the way some people talk about it.

yeah literally, it’s a huge step down from savage but still decent and mostly inoffensive
