at this point any stats from post-2022 are massively skewed. they should just split them up into pre- and post- and quit comparing the two because the industry has gone completely insane and they aren't comparable in any way

Imagine if this EP came out instead of Gurlz last year, kept Illusion on it and made Thirsty their English debut single  a flawless rollout fumbled for some BG flop serve and random ass snooze fests.  The way I've never went back to Lingo, ICU or Life's Too Short (Gurlz ironically grew on me from the girl on tiktok doing extra ass church ad libs  the fact those three flops and Illusion are on the same project still sends; SM just be doing anything and bops through it, they knew they could turn it around with this era at any moment
