MAXIDENT had 3 versions, Heart, T-Crush and Go versions, released initially with the jewel cases of each of the members released days after the day of the comeback. So just 3 versions for first weeks sales.  Billboard counted that they had more versions than they did cause you could acquire the album from different stores and they had exclusive benefits like photocards, which is normal for every other album...

 

And it wasn't 20 versions, they said it was 10

I noticed people here hate to be exposed for their narratives, just because you all kept saying 3 version for months but the reality is that the final sale number has more versions 

 

First, I was just repeating what was reported by the BB200 report

 

Second, out of the top of my head, here they have 8 extra "Paper case" versions for each member.
