What are you even talking about Jessie literally sinngs on 2 minutos and 30 seconds of the song. More than Nicki. Nicki was wrong for that situation hence why she was called out and she changed it

Because their work seems to sell the best. Blue wasn’t even meant to be released and it went viral, and the demo was meh. It’s just amazing how well their styles go together.

The demo is a lot better actually. "I'm goooooooooood! Goooooooooooood" should have been kept more times in the official version they released

Can you post said demo? I never listened to it

I had no idea that there was another singer on Hey Mama besides Nicki, lol...

The fact that the only part I remember of that song is the chorus sung by Bebe.

Now that had to be deliberate, I have no idea why her refuses to acknowledge her involvement in that song but credits Afrojack who is a literal nobody and only helped with the production. If anything it should have been David Guetta & Nicki Minaj ft. Bebe Rexha, or just had all three as lead acts.

I remember Nicki originally tried to make her not credited on the song when it first came out. Bebe said I don’t need no FRAUDS

Nicki brought Bebe out for a live performance at iHeart. It wasn’t her decision. If anything Afrojack shouldn’t have been credited

Edited by Roman Holiday

how could they not credit her like she carries most part of the track :rip:

The same way Kesha was not credited for Right Round but only Flo Rida?

:dies: right. WTH is that user talking about :ahh:

However I don't think Nicki Minaj was to blame for that situation, I thought it was David + the label which felt like it was too many people.

I mean it clearly says she’s part of the song on Apple Music and wiki already…am I missing something here?

As someone else mentioned, Bebe was disrespected pretty bad her earlier years. In 2013 her label forced her to sell her song "The Monster" to Eminem, and then had Rihanna sing the chorus instead of her. The worst part was they kept her vocals on it... that  "Weehoooweehoooo" is actually Bebe cause that was out of Rih's range. She had to fight to get recognition on this one despite it initially being released without her credit. Me (and a majority of people) assumed it was Oneeks singing the chorus, till it was later amended to include her. It opened a lot of doors for her! She was later featured on G-Eazy's smash "Me Myself & I"

Oh wow didn't know this. Bebe literally sang the most catchiest part of the song and she almost didn't get a credit :chick2:

Fight what's rightfully yours queen!

bebe made me, myself & i and then played it for g-eazy and he wanted to hop on it, a dumb decision tbh since her solo version is way better :thing: but at least she got a smash

Spoiler

you can find the full solo ver on soundcloud titled "don't need anything"

Iirc, Kesha didn't want to be credited. She did it for fun.

Spoiler

I blame Dr. L*ke :coffee2:.

Ends him is a reach considering most of the G P has no idea she exists. Guetta will always win

I love how she always take the opportunity to remind people who carried that song (despite unfairly not being credited). :clap3:
