I've seen this point of view many times here on atrl, do you think so? 

 

I do consider them a duo, for three reasons basically: 

 

- Finneas has way more credits than her on HER OWN discography, incl. most of her hits written only by him. + he is the only producer on her tracks 

- A single female is easier to target to a young demographic than a duo

- Billie would be basically nowhere if her parents hadn't engendered her an older brother 

 

It's more like a group if we considering the marketing team that crafted her edgy image and planned it to the tiniest detail. A common framework, one would say!

nope finneas's solo material is trash and billie's artistry clearly exists, it's very evident on hte.

No, but I think Finneas and Billie’s chemistry with him is essential to the resulting work.

 

Like the user above said, its pretty obvious that Billie is the “mastermind” behind the music considering Finneas’ solo output and even other production work.

Basically. It’s quite obvious Billie contributes a ton to her work and that she’s not just a Finneas puppet, as evidence by the relative poorness of Finneas’s solo work

 

Billie is a solo act who primarily works with one producer. Just like Olivia with Dan N.

Do you consider Britney + max or Ariana + max one?

no finneas’ solo music sucks and no one listens to it so it’s weird that people try to give him half/most of the credit for her whole career, they work well together and literally everyone else has co-writers or producers too

If Billie is a duo then some of your faves are a trio/quartet or an ENTIRE ORGY  this is embarrassing please delete it

there are only like four songs in her entire discography that she doesn't have a writing credit on  you tried

I don't consider them a duo, finneas is her producer and it's clear billie handles most of the heavy lifting with songwriting (as finneas' solo work is horrific). I definitely get why they were considered a duo in her early eras but it's become very clear that she is in control of her own artistry 

Then all the other artists should be grouped with the main producers/writers they work with

dumb logic

 

especially when Finneas is mostly known to Us.Fans. who care and know about these stuff.
