Midnights does well on streaming just like Lover bc its an album catered towards streaming audiences (aka kids and gen z) and she also had the usual crazy fanbase buying the album. Its a clear step back from evermore and folklore, and if the critics praise Midnights its just to jump on the bandwagon.

Being 18 is weird, you just left high school or are still in it but physically and on many levels you're an adult. But when 19 and 20 hit it feels like you've aged 5 years in only one.
