The lyrics sound straight out of Born This Way, but that's a compliment.  Paradise was very BTW as well saur maybe this is going to be an 80's inspired dark bop with an uplifting message :jonny3:

I can't deny that this bops a bit, but in all honesty this is still yet another step back for her. She is easily coming with her worst project yet.

The Born This Way comparisons are super accurate to the point it feels reductive. The whole thing feels like a copy paste of BTW with nothing fresh to it, she really decided to strip herself of any artistry and just ride on the gays hype of being the new Gaga of the indie world. From the melodies, production, songwriting to super corny lyrics and repetitive biblical themes there is not a grain of originality. She is releasing a 2011 Gaga tribute album a decade later as if the former hasn't already aged years ago.

Rina is still very talented so even at her worst she's still slaying the competition, but I hope for the next era she will come with something more interesting. Unless she just loves the comparisons and will dive into it even further, cause I'm sure this era will bring her yet another horde of gays who were raised in the Gaga era, liddos will stan this album hard as probably a lot of them still dream of Gaga releasing exactly that.

This actually makes me super excited :jonny5:

I love the lyrics!

And so what if this record takes a lot of inspiration from Born This Way? It’s the most definitive album of Gaga’s career - plus, nobody has touched that kind of sound in what feels like forever… we’re overdue for a dark, campy, self referential pop album.

I trust Rina and Clarence to bring the goods regardless… Lucid might have been a misstep but these two literally took Free Woman from a 5 to a 9.

It's a bop

Not the **** in here mad at "blasmephy"... girl christianism hates you

yeeeah, this isn't great.

:chick3:

the guitar reminds me of the gimmie! gimmie! gimmie! melody, along with it sounding like some BTW knock off. Rina, sis...

I thought her debut was slightly overrated (it’s great, but inconsistent because there are some unnecessary tracks amongst the 10/10s). Nothing she’s done since has matched its highs though.

According to the leaker it's coming May 19th so same day as the Jimmy Fallon performance!

This makes most sense. The same day as Don't Forget as well! What a day for music.

i love it :jonny: also is it just me or does her delivery of the chorus have a country-ish twang to it? i cant wait for the performance!
