Really hope she can match the awesomeness of the first album and not go towards the bloodpop'd generic edm :celestial5:

Dear god please. Lucid is horrid.

Is the whole album rock, or more of a mixed bag of genres like SAWAYAMA?

shame, it's a great song but her scrapping this one probably means there are even better songs that made the cut

very much like sawayama but improved upon and polished, she has a very distinct unique sound, nothing like lucid on the album and most if not all tracks are better than missing flops, no features

The melodies on this album are truly other-wordly. Like, whenever I listen to it I wonder how she came up with them. So spectacular.

i dont know how much i trust atrl "insiders" but i know this will be good anyways

Agree, for a POP album this is absolutely excellence.

My only problem though is lyrically; she really doesn't go as personal or descriptive on some (obviously not all) of the tracks. A few songs are very generic, cheesy, and/or vague... whereas SAWAYAMA was much more personal as a whole, used fewer cliched word choices & phrases, etc.

That said, and back to my first point, this is such an enjoyable album - an experience like GODAYAMA was. Some dance and huge beats, some Shania Twain, some very rocky moments, some early 2000s pop rock moments, a harmony-centric acoustic moment, and even a rogue one-off Charli XCX-ish moment. Another journey for sure :alexz:

COMING TO MAKE POP HISTORY! I understand the criticism and overall dislike for Lucid, but it’s actually not that bad, a harmless bop. The fact that she is coming to serve another excellent album :jonnycat: so excited for the era

My thoughts exactly! Christianity has been a safe punching bag for years, this concept is past stale. She grew up way too posh to have any direct experience with religious zealots, she may as well write a diss track about poor people. The movie Saved! came out wayyy too long ago for this to still be a thing now. Hope the music is better than the creative
