My only problem though is lyrically; she really doesn't go as personal or descriptive on some (obviously not all) of the tracks. A few songs are very generic, cheesy, and/or vague... whereas SAWAYAMA was much more personal as a whole, used fewer cliched word choices & phrases, etc. 

 

That said, and back to my first point, this is such an enjoyable album - an experience like GODAYAMA was. Some dance and huge beats, some Shania Twain, some very rocky moments, some early 2000s pop rock moments, a harmony-centric acoustic moment, and even a rogue one-off Charli XCX-ish moment. Another journey for sure

The notion just because someone is well off that they don't experience bigotry is so incredibly naive and harmful—especially to level at a woman of color in a predominately white country like the UK. And as if we don't live in an entirely heteronormative culture that effects nearly everyone.

Like I like Rina but the users on here living for this concept as if this was 1983 chile  if anything christians are the new pariahs/punk rock these days lmao and not some of them @ you with the tired ass twitter academia catchphrases
