TREASURE are way bigger now than SKZ were during their pre-GM era though. I read somewhere that SKZ used to be named "JYP's biggest failure" during those times, and that they were the biggest flop group in the history of Big 3 groups. "God's Menu" became a rebirth for them and the rest is history. They kinda have the same career path as BTS lol, and they will probably be the third group after BTS and BP to be appearing in all of these American award shows etc, and really be pushed in the West. 

 

The growth after God's Menu, and their latest album alone outsold their whole discography from 2017-2019  They will probably do 2M + with their next album.

 

A cultural reset  

 

They had whole KCON and the other 4th gen idols shook

This is the main TWICE problem. Their voices sound extremely shrill and strained when they get these upper register choruses. It ends up sounding like someone is shouting in your ear. I think NMIXX would have pulled the song off better with better vocalists.

After a 2 year haitus, this was the time to comeback with something different and iconic. Not another same-structured song re-hash since DDDD. Teddy is so limited in his ability to make diverse music. In 10 years, almost all BP music is going to sound like it's from the same era (main reason why I appreciate LSG for at least standing out in their recent title tracks).

I mean BP knows what their fans want, that's why they keep releasing the same thing all the time. LSG did considerably worse than HYLT globally so that's why they stick to the same old formula. They choose charts not the arts and it's working for them so good for them i guess

Trouble is amazing. Finally someone who get it , Twice cb is excellent when you don’t people whining about how the TT is bad.

Tank that Tank is cute and classic Twice, I'm enjoying it! The rest of (Not) Between 1&2 is forgettable but non offensive.

This is a pre release. The girls revealed an MV, a dance video, and ghosted. It's been a week and they're still doing exceptionally well overall and setting records both domestically and overseas. Some KTRL users still seem to be annoyed at Blackpink enjoyers enjoying Blackpink. The new MV is being edited and we have 2 cute iconic stages coming in 2 days before the era is over basically and Born Smash teasing begins. You're talking about rehashing but you're rehashing the same old argument as 7 days ago and by now it's just giving bitter at the success. Let it go.
