Bad music tends to do that. Fans will buy albums regardless but repeating the song on Spotify? Gotta actually like the song. Only Army and Blinks have large enough mindless dedicated stans to pull off decent numbers no matter if fans actually like the songs or not

Yeah she just said Part 2 will be released in October and she’s performing a song from it in August

It’s so weird that the English version won… It would have been better in Japanese or Korean

yeah thats what people dont understand, usually when kpop songs does well on spotify its because the public also listening

so the "oh they sell millions but nobody listen on spotify so their sales must be fake" narrative is kinda dumb

the general public =\= fanbases

I'm sure music is a big reason but Kep1er had a really public friendly song and failed to enter Global 200 compared to WA DA DA which lasted like weeks on there. I think KPOP has just peaked tbh and as much as some people here would hate to admit it, BTS absence probably plays a part

They are getting better and better
