Guys, we're talking about Lady F*ing Gaga here. The artist that revolutionized music videos at the end of the 2000s decade. She served some of the best videos of all time in a short span of time at the beginning of her career. 

 

We don't have to settle for those mid videos she's been serving for the last 10 years just because that's all we can get recently. Imagine claiming John Wayne is good, man! Please.... It's decent, but not good. It's passable. Compare it to her early work, for God's sake.

And it's not even a matter of budget. You can serve good videos with low budget. The problem is the lack of professionalism involved.

Seriously what did you expect from the JW MV… her walking onto the highway in archive McQueen while singing about "craving a John Wayne"? The MV captures the song's frenetic energy, gave us great looks, and tells a funny story. Lighten up! 

 

 

I will say she had the perfect visual opportunity to make a gritty, mini-film about her life pre-fame hustling in LES if she released DH as Joanne's lead single. But we've had this discussion several times already
