To me her main problem is / she sees releasing music is a grace to her fans. 

 

She should release music for having fun and being creative. Just look at everyone else…

Taylor literally having fun with her producer and they’re making music almost every single day. 

 

Doja Cat is literally making beats on her instragram live and playing unreleased music for her fans. 

 

She should learn to have fun with her music and should stop seeing it as a grace to her fans and to the world. 

Its just music after all and should take it less seriously.

I feel like she needs to start the era before all these big album releases happen, or else I fear she may get buried by everyone else lol. She hasn't had a long rollout since ARTPOP, and I would kind of be here for it again. As long as she keeps it interesting, which she easily could do.

Jokes apart, it's been really refreshing to see so many Twitter liddos put "👹🖤" in their usernames. The pre-era excitement is real, and all it took was a few TikTok comments and IG posts. Hope she keeps it up in the lead up to the first official announcement by teasing more pics and cryptic messages.

I'm lowkey over ha. Its not even everyone releasing their 2nd album in the time span that she released her last album, I guess thats partly where my frustration comes from but I was feeling positive about her working on new music etc but then she went and did the same old snoozefest jazz show in Vegas. Shes been doing this tired act more than her pop career at this point and whats worse is theres absolutely no revinention, shes not switching it up or adding anything new. Its the same show, same fashion, same tired covers that truly nobody gaf about. Nobody is gonna look to her in 50 years and think what an incredible jazz musician she was, none of her jazz covers have made any dent on the music industry and shes never even released original jazz music at least then there would be something to come from this but at this point I feel its just easy for her to get up there do the same old song and dance, cash a cheque and call it a day and thats what makes me lose hope for her future endeavors because its the same team of people surrounding her, doing this same old tired act rather then breaking the mold, evolving and being the all round risk taker she once was shes now slugging behind the music industry. Can she even be called a pop star anymore when shes basically just a full time jazz cover artist? Sorry for the rant but idk how we got so down bad.

 

Sidenote I'm happy if shes happy ofc this isn't a target on her personally, at the end of the day she should do what makes her happy I'm just over the art shes creating or the lack thereof maybe she doesn't want to be the pop star she once was and I just have to accept that, but as a long time fan seeing one of the most inovative artists leave their music career in the dust is ofc gonna leave me feeling a little disappointed.
