the story so far per reliable insiders/common sense 

• as of late last year, Gaga planned to have something out in Q1, more specifically first few weeks of february
• she's been in the studio since last summer
• music isn't ready yet(at least that pr people from her label know of)
  • Vinyl factories take months so we aren't getting an album anytime soon even if she finished it tonight
• multiple sources don't want this project to end up like Chromatica
• They want a "billie rollout"
• There's going to be some kind of cross promo with JFAD
• She probably wont want to drop the same week as Ariana, Dua, Bey, or Taylor to ensure at least a week at #1
  • She will more than likely be interscope/universal's big answer to some of these releases though, specifically Bey and Dua who aren't under universal like the rest and also rely on the same radio formats as Gaga

 

there's also the q4 touring rumor which isn't its6a6a tier but isn't 100% confirmed either

 

There's plenty of gaps in her schedule to promote singles or launch an album depending how spread out she wants the rollout to be and we could still reasonably see a buzz single out Q1, a splashy lead single if her and her team are feeling extra bold. We know from over a decade of experience at this point that once she's formed her character for an album and the story she's trying to tell with it(which it appears she's done given the new look and barrage of teasing) that we're months, not years out from the album's release.

They won’t be releasing on the same day or week. They can both come up on top. Billie can release early May while Gaga on 3rd or 4th week of May.

I believe I read somewhere that labels can book time slots in advance with pressing plants, so if they knew they wanted the vinyls to be about by June, they should send in the album no later than late March.

Im still not giving up on Q1 theories. The only person she should avoid is Tay so its safe to say she aint releasing an album for at least 4 weeks after her.

I know Beyonce just announced but she is doing a country album. Her fanbase and deserved acclaim is going to carry this yeehaw era, I dont see regular GP and non US GP doing too much for the album because everyone is used to pop/rap/rnb Beyonce so I dont see her having a for example 5 week #1 album blocking everyone and everything.
