Its not even everyone releasing their 2nd album in the time span that she released her last album, I guess thats partly where my frustration comes from but I was feeling positive about her working on new music etc but then she went and did the same old snoozefest jazz show in Vegas. Shes been doing this tired act more than her pop career at this point and whats worse is theres absolutely no revinention, shes not switching it up or adding anything new. Its the same show, same fashion, same tired covers that truly nobody gaf about. Nobody is gonna look to her in 50 years and think what an incredible jazz musician she was, none of her jazz covers have made any dent on the music industry and shes never even released original jazz music at least then there would be something to come from this but at this point I feel its just easy for her to get up there do the same old song and dance, cash a cheque and call it a day and thats what makes me lose hope for her future endeavors because its the same team of people surrounding her, doing this same old tired act rather then breaking the mold, evolving and being the all round risk taker she once was shes now slugging behind the music industry. Can she even be called a pop star anymore when shes basically just a full time jazz cover artist? Sorry for the rant but idk how we got so down bad.

 

Sidenote I'm happy if shes happy ofc this isn't a target on her personally, at the end of the day she should do what makes her happy I'm just over the art shes creating or the lack thereof maybe she doesn't want to be the pop star she once was and I just have to accept that, but as a long time fan seeing one of the most inovative artists leave their music career in the dust is ofc gonna leave me feeling a little disappointed.

Lead time is 2 months min rn and half of all the artists who sell numbers on vinyl have albums coming. She's going to want every physical out week 1 to push for a #1. The point was if she finished the album yesterday, the soonest we could have it was April.

I think Gaga/Interscope have completely lost the plot when it comes to releasing new music. 
Everyone makes such events out of their releases, look at Beyonce and Taylor...You can all say that Gaga is not on Taylor's commercial level (which is true) but she has the presence of a pop star. Yet, all of that is completely WASTED. Gaga is no longer interested in being the center of attention or being a pop star. She is comfortable doing her jazz covers and that's it.
Whatever she releases this year will be completely overshadowed by literally EVERYONE releasing in the same period.

Y'all are too far gone. She has been hinting at a new non jazz album since November, with teasing it heavily last week...she's clearly making an album, idk when It will release but shes making an album and shes clearly very far in the process
