So, I did my research, and number 16 is one of the retired numbers of the team. There are like 15 retired numbers, but she chose to wear 16 specifically. It doesn't mean anything to the team, so it must mean something to her, but what? We'll have to wait and see.

 

I think she might drop a hint on Valentine's Day. She's using the black hearts too much for her to ignore Valentine's

I agree, they shouldn't have a cowardly attitude. It's way more damaging for Gaga to go another year without a studio album than to sell less than Taylor and Beyoncé or whatever. It's not 2013 anymore, she'll be fine regardless.

Exactly. Music consumption is high this year. All these artists want to make money and this is the time to release

If you think about it, some A/B/C-list act is releasing every week round the calendar year which leaves her indie ass and shitty team with no feasible window. Guess she's not putting out any more albums now and we should start counting down to the retirement announcement instead. You had a good 6 album run, Gagz. At least we have weekly Haus Labs stories and triennial movie releases to look forward to.

There's plenty of gaps in her schedule to promote singles or launch an album depending how spread out she wants the rollout to be and we could still reasonably see a buzz single out Q1, a splashy lead single if her and her team are feeling extra bold. We know from over a decade of experience at this point that once she's formed her character for an album and the story she's trying to tell with it(which it appears she's done given the new look and barrage of teasing) that we're months, not years out from the album's release.

The logical conclusion that wraps everything together (avoids major competitors and gets everything in place) seems to be a summer album release, with maybe the lead coming mid/late spring.

 

I wouldn't mind waiting until summer for the full album if we at least got the lead single and/or a promo single to keep us occupied.

Yeah like, why is this base scared of literally everybody? Do you really think of Gaga so lowly that you need her to hibernate until there's no pop girl releasing? Like damn, Ariana and Dua have been doing sort of mid compared to the high expectations, Beyoncé is releasing a country album, Taylor will dominate regardless and it's pointless to resist, Billie is a question mark and there's plenty of time until her new era. Katy, Lorde, Lana, Kacey, whomever else are also really not that big to be '' concerned '' about either.
