Taylor Swift does NOT take more risks than Gaga, that might be the most dumb ass take I’ve read all day :deadbanana2:

Not Beyonce announcing first :deadbanana2:

Announcing during the Super Bowl is a serve tho

Ariana, Dua, Beyonce and Taylor all releasing within 6 weeks of each other :eatpopcorn:

Beyonce releasing on March 29th, but it seems like it’s gonna be a full on country album, will be interesting to see how it does…

Taylor Swift is more provocative when taking risks in her lyrics and attacking anyone or depicting the world with her storytelling.

Babes, you can't just come here and talk about risks when Gaga is out there back in 2012 fighting for LGBT while doing it within inside homophobic Russia itself and was threatened arrest when Taylor probably set back gay rights releasing You Need To Calm Down.

Is she just gonna have to wait till no other major female pop star releases music? We'll be waiting forever at that rate. I say she just throws her damn hat in the ring.

Arts not the charts baby

there is a three week gap between Ari - Beyonce - Taylor, so is Gaga doing May 10? :fan: Single this Feb 23.

While I do not think Gaga cares a lot about charts (at least not as much as her fans), not debuting at #1 because of Beyonce or Taylor's third or fourth week would just look bad and start the era off as a dud. That coveted #1 debut is important for every pop girl no matter who they are just for optics purposes.

Unless she plans to do something big, like a full visual album and surprise drop, she will have to play the old-fashioned game.

When the hell is she even releasing now?

Ariana is March 8

Kacey Musgraves and JT are March 15

Beyonce is March 29

Taylor is April 19

Taylor will probably dominate well into June so

I still don't think this will change much if the single comes out in early March and the album comes out in late May-June.

Remember Billie is also rumored for May 17.

June looks like a solid release month. Single will probably come no earlier than April if they're trying to keep her on an expedited schedule. Who knows, maybe it could be for the better. She can have a bit more time to polish up the record and vinyl will be ready.

ddd if Gaga releases as well

Ariana, Gaga, Taylor, Beyonce all releasing in the same year. Billie and Dua as well :jonny5:

If Interscope plans to slot Billie’s next album for May — a 1st Single in March, Album in June would be perf :alexz2:

honestly releasing around Joker,  slightly before, sounds like the best option, especially if she could tie it with being "music from and inspired by"
