Just Dance / Poker Face / Paparazzi / LoveGame (can go tbh)

Bad Romance / Alejandro / Telephone (also can go)

Born This Way / The Edge of Glory (her best song but also can go :'()

Applause

Million Reasons

Shallow / ARUTW

These are the true essentials imo. :celestial5: She really reached that point in her career where she has to let go of some hits. Or start doing mashups sis.

Wishlist includes: Marry the Night, Heavy Metal Lover, Venus

y'all bout to be real mad at me, but it must be said: Just Dance can also go. Agree with this list

She should've opted for Scheibe instead...

It would have bombed just as hard on radio, it’s really just a pick your poison in terms of preference. Judas made sense because of its easier controversy sell and rah rah hook, it’s a narrative that gets talked about every anniversary. An Easter treat for the girls. It would have made less sense sitting there as a non-single come May when the album dropped. The cast of The Sound of Music doing a cover was worth it alone.

Scheisse could have only worked as a ballsy lead, but with an album full of statement songs, you just couldn’t trump the title track.

When the news break from the first tour date that she didn't perform ARUTW and everyone rushes to refund their tickets.

An EMPTI tour incoming, so deserving.

nn I'm not the biggest Just Dance stan and I would love to see it replaced by better songs, buts its not realistic at all :eli:

I'm reaaaally praying for new arrangements though. I bet Gaga herself is BORED of performing the same old studio version for over a decade now.

Just dance is sort of an essential in a dance concert. People are still NEVER bored of that song... I like it more than PF

If Gaga released The Edge of Glory after Born This Way instead of Judas it would’ve gone #1

I'm very much here for the ARUTW spam campaign, let Fad KNOW.

It would really DUMB not to perform ARUTW when its constantly perched in her Top 5 most streamed songs daily :skull:

I'm not setting myself up and I can totally see her doing only Shallow from ASIB, but yeah :michael:

yeah exactly, I'm just saying it would be dumb af, but also won't be surprised!

your dog is SO cute. what breed is it? simply adorable.  He should be the official non-human spokesperson of the Gaga fanbase.

LoveGame, Alejandro, Telephone, Applause,  You and I, Million Reasons and The Edge of Glory are the list of her easiest hits to remove. She could rotate them in and out however she pleases.

The Just Dance / Poker Face / Bad Romance trinity aren’t going anywhere until she commits to a JazzGa style world tour (and even then only Just Dance would be cut).

She is at heart a people pleaser (which is a big part of why she tends to play them so straight). Even at the ArtRave when she was carrying her biggest FU energy and ready to alienate casual audiences, she never committed to cutting TFM singles fully. If she snubs ASIB it’s purely down to her not being comfortable enough performing songs written for Ally…

…even if replacing Million Reasons with Always Remember Us This Way on the piano seems like the most obvious call in the world.

Considering how many digital sales it took to debut at #1 at the time even with insane radio backing, and how we know the era was naturally frontloaded, it seems unlikely.

Could it have peaked higher than Judas? Absolutely, and it did. #3 is a great peak in such a competitive era for pop. Saying it would have absolutely gone two places higher is a roll of the dice. We’ll never know. The one thing that categorically hurt TEOG’s full potential wasn’t Judas sucking up oxygen, but its music video.

I think the logic that "The Edge of Glory would have gone #1 if it wasn't for Judas" isn't so much due to "Judas sucking up oxygen," but more so because of the idea that Judas turned enough people off to lead to TEOG debuting at #3 rather than #1. I do think had TEOG been the next single after Born This Way, it would have done better because the hype was still strong after BTW, and TEOG would have capitalized upon that and created better returns on it than Judas did.

I do agree that the music video for TEOG is what primarily stifled its longevity however.

The real setlist tea is she needs to nix Lüc and I more so than she needs to add Always Remember Bradley This Way, but y'all aren't ready for that conversation I fear. :celestial5:
