The Stupid Love demo sounds so much better. There's something early-mid 2000s about it, can't really explain it. I like original Stupid Love as well but I think it'd have worked better with a cleaner, less blaring production.

Could it have peaked higher than Judas? Absolutely, and it did. #3 is a great peak in such a competitive era for pop. Saying it would have absolutely gone two places higher is a roll of the dice. We’ll never know. The one thing that categorically hurt TEOG’s full potential wasn’t Judas sucking up oxygen, but its music video.

Gaga had insane hype back then. It’s very possible TEOG would’ve gone #1 following BTW instead of Judas, which was seen as a huge underperformance at the time.

19 is just on pop radio. But she peaked at 10 on combined radio charts ?

Stupid Love and Rain On Me were both Pop radio hits though. Not smashes, but still hits
