The way The Chromatica Ball film will be released on streaming in months and months, the cinema release is ugly. 

What's Katy going to perform at the SB? She's already done her best hits on her previous performance. 

 

While Gaga can still do a full show and perform Shallow, HMH, ARUTW, TEOG, Rain on Me, Love Game, Paparazzi, Alejandro and Bloody Mary. 

 

Plus that pairing is very random. When they could just do Ariana + Gaga which makes sense for ROM.

- Take That (special live broadcast)
- Little Mix

- Blackpink

- Louis Tomlinson   

- Coldplay (special live WW broadcast; definitive directors cut of which was back in cinemas just recently).

- Suga from BTS

- J-Hope from BTS 

 

And there’s probably more I’m forgetting. The latter two also had a deal with Disney+ from what I can see and none were about raking in blockbuster money and is very much a fan event with limited engagements and higher ticket prices. There’s no reason Gaga isn’t on a level to do the same with The Chromatica Ball; like seriously, some of you complain nothing is happening and then when something does reveal to be planned it’s “oh no she’ll flop, stop doing things again.” 

Anyway, the discussion would be different if there was a wide release set in the US or something, which I very much doubt will be the case (if this rumour ends up being true at all).

Even if Gaga wanted to do another HS, why would she waste it on a year she's NOT touring? The earliest she'll go on tour again is 2025.

 

Rihanna is different, she hates touring and doesn't need the money. But doing the Superbowl and NOT going on Tour is so stupid.
