i honestly feel like interscope and gaga count LFS and J:FAD as albums they’re feeding us with. so i wouldn’t be surprised if she waited until 2026 to release a new studio album tbh. 

 

btw i love gaga and donatella’s friendship. she always looks amazing in versace. 

The fact that ARUTW peaked at #41 and spent only 9 weeks on the charts, but it's about to hit 1B streams. 

 

That has to be a record. Someone should do a little research.

Madonna had a larger percentage of writing credit on some of those songs than Gaga did for TIHTY 

 

I looked into, she only had 2 songs nominated, but both won. 
 

A better comparison is Celine Dion. She had a lot of nominations, even though she did not receive credit for a lot of them 

Chromatica was released 1 year and a half after ASIB, so we can assume the same for LG7. Spring 2026 seems likely.

I think she has it in her for one more big era before turning 40. It would be risky to release it in 2025 or after because women over 40 often get panned. Please be smart Gaga!

What is your definition of "big era", though? Considering how the industry is now, "big" can be subjective.

Smart would be to continue on the path she's on and release a personal project that focuses on songwriting and craftsmanship.

ASIB had a massive hit song attached to it that charted over 40 weeks. Chromatica had to be pushed back that long to let Shallow do its thing. 
 

LG7’s release date depends on if JFAD gets a hit or not. It is unpredictable if it will.

I'm erring on the side of caution and thinking this way as well. I think Chromatica was her last hurrah for a while and her fans treated it like **** so she probably doesn't feel the need to rush back to music.

 

Anything she does release moving forward, imo, will be passion projects meant to creatively fulfill her as opposed to her "fans".

Another pop era like TFM/BTW. All her project since then have been half assed. Thinking about her legacy longterm, it would nice to have another big impactful era with the visuals, singles etc. She obviously isn’t Madonna, but she needs to at least make an effort while there’s still time

OK, I figured this is what you meant. It's 2023. Big eras don't exist anymore. Labels don't spend money like that anymore and Gaga doesn't have the health/stamina to do that anymore. Time to start living in reality; Lady Gaga has been thinking about her legacy for the past ten years and doing so is exactly why she's in the position she's currently in.

 

And if you think the ARTPOP, Joanne, and ASIB eras were "half assed," the problem is you, not Ga. She was all over the world during those eras.

I’m def not too sensitive but I guess it’s just the fact that I quite often agree with your points but at the same time I have second thoughts because you’re just that, blunt. But oh well.
