Not releasing the sped up version on streaming was almost as bad a career decision as releasing Stupid Love as a lead single. Even if it split the streams on Spotify it would’ve done insane on the charts globally.

That's quite dramatic. I don't think the sped up version on Spotify would have changed much. Yeah, maybe 3 more weeks on the Hot 100 and a top 30 peak but not worth it

Came and went? From n/A to #4, one of the last ever singles to scan platinum in pure sales, plus a staple when it comes to reality show performances

 

I'd have loved a performance of The Edge of Glory or You and I at the Super Bowl, but It was great she managed to use the platform to get a decent hit out of a dead era

The sped up version was one of the biggest TikTok hits ever and has an unofficial video with 137m on YouTube (a dead platform) because it’s not available anywhere else. The unofficial versions still rack up millions of streams a day which count for nothing on the charts. The original song was too different for it to take off properly. The sped up version would’ve absolutely made a huge difference.

Let’s keep it cute Million Reasons has 700m streams on Spotify and it’s outstreaming daily many of the huge radio hits of the time. It’s still pulling in great recurrent streams (over double of Stupid Bomb, for example). If it did anything it was the opposite of came and went, it’s stuck around.

The way TEOG piano was my bathroom break at the 2nd Covid Ball I went to 

 

Has anyone ever performed the Superbowl as a leading act twice? And not like Beyonce who led one show and then guest starred in another. I mean, like led a show twice?

"It came and went" as if the one thing it doesn't have up its sleeve is longevity.  It's arguably the most consistent performer from her studio albums since TFM (100m Spotify stream per year) precisely because it caught on with casual listeners, unlike anything from ARTPOP or Chromatica.

Urghhh you're right. I dislike the damn song  Queen knew what she had to do. She gave us John Wayne video after the Superbowl so I forgive her

Million Performances may be overplayed but it ain't bad AT ALL 

 

When Ariana does the Super Bowl in 5 years she better bring Gaga as her guest. 
Gaga will bring Bradley and they will sing shallow together. Then Gaga will perform the Edge of Glory. Ariana will then join Gaga for Rain On Me. Gaga and Bradley then float away on a rain cloud and Ariana finishes her show.
