Once a teen turns 18, foster care agencies no longer look after them. But the foundation makes donations to the agencies to allow kids to stay in the system longer. It wasn't that far-fetched at all, it overperformed with nominations, even getting a music video nomination for a simple shoot in the studio and the engeener one that usually AOTY winners gets, there wasn't a massive big album in the run and it was last Tony album that in the 90s managed to win AOTY with a live cover album.
