I agree with this, actually. Out of her past 4 nominations, I would say The Fame Monster the only one who was truly robbed. The rest of the losses were not as stingy as Kendrick's.

Another album with over 2B streams is more than enough, and push her to 40B faster. I need her to surpass Karol G, SZA, Lana, Dua and Nicki on Spotify. 

She really needs to catch up with the low-tier hits (100M to 200M). She's one of the few artists with the lowest number of songs surpassing 100M for an MPG (46 tracks) while others have over 70 (Bey, Rih, Lana)

This. TPAB losing over 1989 and to a lesser extent, DAMN. losing to 24k Magic were seen as travesties and all over the media. That has not happened with a Gaga AOTY loss, even with TFM. Kendrick has that AOTY overdue narrative and people will be excited to vote him because of that and the year he's had.

 

What makes things tricky is both Clipse & Chromakopia getting in there. MBF will also take votes from MAYHEM, but not as much as those two. We also still can't count out DTMF but by the looks of it so far it seems like his Latin voting block might block just might not be strong enough.

 

Abracadabra is #2 in ROTY behind Luther. It will be hard to beat Luther because it is the biggest US hit of the year, but he did win this category last year so hopefully they will want to give it to someone else this time.

 

SOTY I don't think Abracadabra has as good as a chance, but it's a non zero chance. This is where a song like Wildflower could potentially take it.

That's because she doesn't play the PR game like certain someone did, and what's worse, even her fans don't want to drum up that narrative and spread the words since this argument keeps coming up in her stan base.

 

Certain someone can have that narrative despite being the most rewarded artist of all time, meanwhile Gaga doesn't even have that many but she can't have overdue narrative? Make it make sense.

I think Gaga has a higher chance of winning SOTY/ROTY than AOTY, cuz they're definitely not going to give Kendrick SOTY/ROTY back to back.

Gaga's only real chance will be AOTY, there are too many pop songs to split the votes. Abracadabra also isn't a song that appeals across genres unlike songs like Wildflower, Manchild or The Subway. Luther will benefit being one of the only two rap/rnb songs there, and I don't see Anxiety winning votes over Luther. I can see Gaga takes AOTY and Kendrick takes other two or at least one.

 

Kendrick winning can also soften the backlash if Gaga takes AOTY against so many rap/rnb albums by black artists, rap branch will still be happy with that result.

yup, and if we assume that disease and tdd stabilize around 300k daily, adding 2 more that gives 300k and one song that is evergreen at 600k would be amazing
