I rewatched the video. I definitely prefer it to Stupid Love.

They're going to replace Hold My Hand playing at the gas pumps with Dead Dance.

Lmao I forgot Die With A Smile. I know this is controversial but I think that is a truly great music video. A fabulous example of how simple doesn't have to be dull. It helps that there are two very charismatic performers but it's shot in one scene and it still has you glued from the beggining to the end. I would actually rate it above Disease, even if conceptually the latter is more interesting.

She belted multiple G5s in Sweet Sounds of Heaven actually.

After listening to it many times I do think The Dead Dance is a bit on the mid side compared to most of Mayhem. I really like the start of the song, I think overall the production is great but something about the chorus needed more. Maybe they kept it simpler to try and give it commercial appeal (I hope that works) also the bridge is a letdown. 

 

Atm I'd rank Mayhem VIY > Disease > PC > SOAM > Abra > ZB > Killah > LoveDrug > KFL > CSTH > GOE > HBDUWM > DWAS > TDD > The Beast > DCT > BOG 

 

It's a good song I think the only truly weak songs on Mayhem are the last two but it's bottom four of the album for me. 

The video at 400k in one hour, the hype  w̶a̶s̶ is there

 

LOVE THE SONG, hope it smashes.
