February 4, 20251 yr comment_27128952 I'm real torn on disease vs abracadabra Disease is something new for her discography, very fresh and the vocal is one of her best ever. The production is unique, sharp, and the song as a whole is sooooo powerful. Abracadabra is a return to form, but with a mayhem twist. It's her catchiest single in forever and the video is in her top 5 of all time, which in my personal ranking of a singles does make an impact. The way the song builds in energy as it goes is so satisfying, last minute is phenomenal, the operatic vocal after the career highlight "the floor's on fire!" Is perfect. Which is better is incredibly close. I may have to give quality to disease by the smallest possible lead, but I enjoy Abracadabra more as a single. It's catchier, more fun, incredibly repeatable, and the music video is everything we love about Gaga. its also not even 48 hours old yet, disease took like a week to grow on me. So my ranking may change in a week. Both are 10's.
