Jay07 Posted December 24, 2022 Posted December 24, 2022 Damita Jo is just as solid as All for You, it's not not as capital p Pop as the latter, it's more vibey and low key. 20 YO is when she started not caring, sadly.

Damita Jo is an amazing album with solid songs. Single wise, should’ve produced at least four back to back top ten hits and be a bigger seller than AFY.

Damita Jo is actually an amazing record. It's tainted by association with what went down, but it's very much where she was at in her life, which is what she's always given us in her best work (whether the listener connects with it or not, it's *her*, and girl was horny and in love). 20 Y.O. is when I stopped knowing where she was at. Unbreakable is when that feeling returned. Edited December 26, 2022 by DammnBaby

I saw her on the SOTW tour, and she was covered up but the outfits were aesthetically pleasing. Id like to see a return to her outfits/costumes such as on the Rock Witchu Tour.

I don't think she's training with Tony Martinez (trained her from Damita Jo to Number Ones) or Paulette (snatched her back for SOTW). Janet like many of us is probably just conscious of her body and isn't working out as hard as she used to. But I think there's several creative ways to cover her up without doing a disservice to her appearance and beauty Edited January 7, 2023 by kishi
