Then you'll realize it's 6 streaks from Control to there another side that she don't hide but may never show... Damita Jo!

Damita Jo is just as solid as All for You, it's not not as capital p Pop as the latter, it's more vibey and low key. 20 YO is when she started not caring, sadly.

Damita Jo is an amazing album with solid songs. Single wise, should’ve produced at least four back to back top ten hits and be a bigger seller than AFY.

We'll flock back to the base when either the tour starts and/or new music drops. Meanwhile there's nothing to talk about :toofunny3:

Call on Me continuing to smash on Youtube. Also one of her top 10 songs on Spotify, will she finally acknowledge it and perform it on the Together Again Tour?

Damita Jo is actually an amazing record. It's tainted by association with what went down, but it's very much where she was at in her life, which is what she's always given us in her best work (whether the listener connects with it or not, it's *her*, and girl was horny and in love). 20 Y.O. is when I stopped knowing where she was at. Unbreakable is when that feeling returned.

She has a number of stylists, but one of her back up dancers Laurel made that outfit for her. Janet has worn it at all of her shows for the second act in 2022, but used a slimmer black top over the spring and summer. The grey top is not flattering, but Janet usually covers up when she's not in tour mode.

Okay how do we stop Laurel from making outfits for her? I saw her on the SOTW tour, and she was covered up but the outfits were aesthetically pleasing. Id like to see a return to her outfits/costumes such as on the Rock Witchu Tour.

🤣 Ultimately, it's up to Janet. She has the final word.

I don't think she's training with Tony Martinez (trained her from Damita Jo to Number Ones) or Paulette (snatched her back for SOTW).

Janet like many of us is probably just conscious of her body and isn't working out as hard as she used to. But I think there's several creative ways to cover her up without doing a disservice to her appearance and beauty
