Unbreakable is a balanced album and most of Discipline is trash, but let's not act like the high points on the latter don't wipe the floor with most of the former. 

The problem with 20 Y.O. is how anonymous most of it sounds. In 2006 that sound was dime a dozen.

80 YO sounds dated now but that album was a complete banger when it was released. It's nearly flawless.

I can see that since it was very current (to me it's a cheap copy of TEOM at certain points). I only started stanning Janet 6 years ago so I only listened to 20 Y.O. for the first time in 2017 and aside from a few songs it always sounded bad to me  With that said Get It Out Me is still that BOP!

 the discussions of the post-All For You albums are always hilarious. 

 

But let's be clear...Unbreakable is the best of them all. Damita Jo is an icon. 20 Y.O. is a tasteful thot soundtrack. Discipline is cute.

I sensed Dead-end Street hate and came running. Yall will not slander the album that houses bop perfection like Don't Stand, Pretty Boy, and If It Takes All Night. 

Discipline is easily her best 00' album. Dream Street is also not that bad. It's not the best but better than her debut. There are only like 3 songs from her debut that I like.

True but it also gave us:

 - shopping mall background music like Show Me

- pure mediocrity like Do It 2 Me

- The worst Janet baby making song aka Love 2 Love

- even though I bop to This Body it's kind of bad

 

It says a lot when 2 of the best tracks (Days Go By and Roll Witchu) aren't on the standard edition

I will proudly say it: Dream Street is TRASH and I'm glad Janet completely ignores it! Don't Stand Another Chance is the only decent song and even that one is mediocre; Pretty Boy is peak 80s trash and If It Takes All Night is boring.

 

Dream Street wishes it was her debut, that album might not be much better but at least it has the masterpiece Come Give Your Love to Me and the cute bop The Magic Is Working
