I'm kinda eyeing the Britney Spears-themed Monopoly: keeping the jail from the original game was such a good idea, the game developers were so thoughtful having somewhere for her family to stay!

She’s talked about being a fan of Britney’s before and how she loves the sound of Britney’s laughter, but she hasn’t really said a word about her since the #FreeBritney movement. She’s been completely silent since then.

Maybe EDM will have a revival because rn it's not really in. But even then, it's not exactly the best EDM song out there. I mean I like it but it's very repetitive.

Well that’s the thing… she didn’t say anything about the FreeBritney movement. She pretended as if Britney didn’t exist once the FreeBritney movement happened.

I haven’t heard anything like that. I don’t think it was ever intended for Britney, when that song was released Robyn framed it as her “not running from her past” since MM produced her first two singles which were her breakout hits in the 90’s.

Oh... I had this very vague memory of seeing it suggested as such once on those accounts/sites that compile Britney unleaked songs and rejects. Of course never paid it attention because those always have some fan fiction, until now that've noticed something. Let me show you and tell me what you think.

 

On BMI, you can check that Max Martin (or whoever does it) registered a bunch of his songs all at once, as the songs have consecutive work codes:

Britney's songs are all almost together if it wasn't for "Time Machine Song," which falls right in the middle. But "Time Machine Song" is not Robyn's song, it appears with no performer and was written by Max Martin, Tiffany Amber and Johan Schuster (Shellback)... But then if you check Robyn's song, all three of them appear as songwriters, with Robyn and Klas Ahlund added.

 

A detail: Tiffany Amber no longer goes by that name but her real one, Sophia Somajo, for Robyn's "Time Machine". She's said she uses "Tiffany Amber" to manage expectations on her own work and that it's a character who's written for her idols/big stars. She changed it for Robyn to show respect.

 

Is it crazy to think that

1. "Time Machine Song" is an early version of "Time Machine," and that if Tiffany/Sophia switched names then it'd mean it wasn't originally for Robyn (beyond Robyn not being a writer on the first)?

2. It could've been Britney's considering the proximity with her songs on data bases?

 

"Time Machine" is part of Robyn's album Body Talk (or Body Talk Pt. 3) released in Nov 2010. Going by what we know about IWG/Criminal/3/Up N Down, "Time Machine Song" is a song made in mid 2009.
