Hearing about her earlier days' bubblegum debut influence has gotten boring for me.. but I always get so shocked when some other acts' fans disregard it

but the way they reminded me:

-She made every label (and even countries) have their own Britney - some even re-recorded their stuff to sound like hers

-Her voice is one of The most recognizable voices Ever. Talk Show hosts are still making celebrities imitate it.

-Her outfits (and videos overall) are so iconic, she has multiple Halloween staples that people dress up as. Not to mention them getting tributed in other artists' videos.

-The performances that she did, still lauded as The Best, Still remembered, Still studied by others.

and that's just part of her influence/impact.

Some fans are really acting like she was relevant 3 years - and even if she was, she Still would've had a huge impact on music that surpasses most of the longevity acts debuting after her

 

I sometimes rly feel like that Brit's influence has been talked so much that we are desensitized about it, or/and the influence as a whole, is only appreciated when the artist is still super successful.

 

Britney's voice always sounds so perfect on Dua's songs

One thing he said is very accurate Britney's vocal performance was spiritual. Despite her not writing BOMT and BTMYH you could feel she felt that music while singing.

There’s a new version coming ? There’s an AI cover of Britney singing Houdini on YT that sounds fantastic.

 

Don’t know if it means anything but considering Britney never starts following anyone it’s interesting. Maybe nothing, maybe a collab on Dua’s upcoming album. There was a rumor of Britney working on a short album of collaborations some weeks ago too. Who knows but I LOVE Dua’s music and I would die of excitement if they were collaborating.

Yes apparently there is a version with another verse coming. I exclusively use the Live In LA version of Don’t Start Now so I’ll be thrilled if Houdini gets the same treatment!

 

A Britney feature would be amazing but my bet is there’s a song on the Dua album with a Britney sample/interpolation.

Britney/Dua is a dream collab that needs to happen, both my main faves would EAT on a song together

Did any of you watch the Beckham or Robbie Williams docs on Netflix? A doc like those would be so good. They watch back old footage and discuss that time of their lives. Hopefully she does something like that in the future. It would be massive too.

I’m not a specialist but I think IG shows people you start following in a chronological order ?

 

When you click on the « Following » button, it shows both of them as the most recent person they started following

Unfortunately she won't do it because it's too painful for her to go back to the past (in her own words)

but it's cute

 

I even wonder if she will allow for anyone to make the tv adaptation about the book

felt that she only made the book because Cade pushed her, altho maybe the success may push her to do more
