I thought so too, I've kinda imagined some kind of intro scene starting with her and the horse. Or maybe they serve as some sort of interlude between two videos, who knows. I've looked at the data files from the cover reveal she did back in July and found out that the horse shooting was from April according to the provided data. I'm sure and i hope we see more footage of that shot

A part of me still hasn't fully digested just how good this album is. Like, all the elements for a commercial/critical underperformance are right there: new sound that a portion of her fanbase wasn't excited for, her first album in 6 years, a row of side projects that didn't exactly set the charts on fire. This album should've been a flop.

 

Yet, somehow, she pulled off the impossible and released her 3rd consecutive masterpiece and managed to get both acclaim, album success and her biggest single in ages She basically skipped her American Life and went from her ROL/Music moment (ST and Lem) to COADF

 

She is truly THAT ***** when it comes to consistency. The other (less talented, less interesting) girls just can't compare.

I like cuff it and it’s a easy smash. I agree with whoever said though that it’s just like every other throwback song released in the last few years. Alien Superstar to me is a career highlight like Purple Rain, Thriller. Daring/different sounds. I get that at this point in her career y’all don’t want her to do different.

All I am seeing is how awfully quiet it has become in these new threads now that numbers and chart positions are being anounced

It's incredible that she's achieving chart peaks on both the single and album charts globally that she hasn't seen in 10/15 years. I don't think any of us foresaw her smashing commercially like this.

She has to do a four show residency like she did in 2012. That way she’d perform all the songs from Renaissance and later not use them in the world tour where she’d have to do three new albums (five if you count EIL and TG). And she’ll have a footage of a concert to release on streaming 

 

Can y'all shut up about it already?  If AS is the career defining smash y'all swear it is, it'll blow on its on like Need to Know did even with You Right being the official single they pushed.

 

Allow Tiktok to really drive up its streams in the meantime, and then they can tie in a video release with it near its peak.

I think someone said a while back before the reset all she has to do is make something more pop to gain back that success after EIL/TG.
