So this is going to turn into drama because she didn’t mention every female black artist? There are so many icons she didn’t name drop, it’s not a big deal :rip:

I didn't mean to start anything with that question. I just had my lamb stan goggles on. :gayriahcat1: But I can see now that there's so many artists we know she loves that didn't get mentioned - Donna Summer being the biggest example since she's even on the album but isn't mentioned in the remix. Tina Turner, Lil' Kim, Mary J. Blige, Etta James, Chaka Khan.

 

So yeah I guess it's nothing personal. She just couldn't fit everyone in.

She has on occasion paid tribute to other black icons like Mariah, Anita Baker and Toni Braxton so its cool.

Yeah. She totally needs to bring everything for longevity. I was more so talking about early chart leaks and reception towards her. :sun:
