There’s 90% chance I would turn it off if it came on radio and I wasn’t EXACTLY in the mood for it.  Whereas Cuff It or Summer Renaissance actually put me IN the mood no matter what I’m feeling. 

No. Alien is most commercially appealing as social media has already proven. The song can be for a younger audience bc everyone knows the Drake song. Therefore it’s already familiar. And the verses are fine, the “unique” is catchy af. Way better than cuff it, I’m sick of that throwback sound. B has already done it before, alien is something new.

I hope she doesn’t do any ballads on this tour lol. I want it to be all uptempo .

I figured it be a situation where 2022-2023 she dedicates to Renaissance. Most likely the tour will kick off next year and be the main focus.

 

Afterwards I can see her doing a MCSWT situation for Act II and Act III.

Those two vocal lines and bars sound melancholic and positively sensual at the time when they accompany the overall sound. It makes almost cry out of sadness, like someone has been abused but came out stronger. I don't understand. 

It’s a Euphoric chorus and it’s why everyone has latched on to it. This will definitely slay on radio similar to “somebody that I used to know”….

Every tour is gonna have a ballad or slow jam segment. She has fans that love her R&B side lol.

Not performing Bigger, My Power and Already would be flat out lunacy, considering she adores paying homage to her sub-Saharan roots and is pro-Black lives matter. At least two tracks on the The Gift must mandatorily make the setlist. Or, she can expeditiously give off the illusion of performing a slew of songs on The Gift in a synonymous fashion to what she did on the Formation world tour, where she almost played every song on B'Day, including the deleted track Lost Yo Mind, and had moments of dividing up past songs amongst different dates (Kitty Kat), while also speeding up those transitions so she doesn't have to perform the full song (singing fused with dancing or singing and dancing separately):

Based on all 16 songs available or potentially become a single, it gives 3rd or 4th single for closing out the era teas (if even that!). 

 

It’s too weird, I fear! She’s not L*dy G*ga y’all (and even she’s struggling to sell that sound nowadays). Let’s stick to what ppl love about her most, vocals and catchy hooks.  If she wants to release a rappy single, Thique or AHAP are much better candidates for radio.

Oh no disagreement there and it would become a commercial classic. I'm just pointing out how her voicing blended with the beat at a specific moment in the track managed to elicit a euphoric and dejected sensation out of me, which, oddly enough, I can't seem to get to the bottom of why.

I mean Ren is better than Planet Her and could easily be 5-6 singles (e.g. BMS, Cuff It, Virgos Groove [radio edit], POTS, AHAP, Thique, Alien Superstar).

 

It’s just a matter of how much effort Bey is willing to put into pushing them. And since she’s not a new and hungry artist like Doja or Megan, we probably only have 2-3 or 4 MAX.

make the most sense. Heated may not be  pulling the streaming numbers Energy, Cozy or I’m That Girl are pulling but it definitely has a radio ready sound to it and from most of the reactions I have seen on YT it’s a hit everytime, especially with the str*ights.

Damn, I forgot about Heated 

 

Apart for the outro, the song kind of drones in the first half for me, but yeah, I forgot how much the locals love Drake’s type of song.

 

And the thing that makes Heated that much better than a typical Drake filler track is Beyoncé’s flavor throughout the song and then the instant shot of energy at the end. 
 

That could also be a radio favorite single tbh.

I think Bey just wanted to build a new music catalog so when she goes on tour again, she doesn't sing the same old tired songs. After Homecoming, i got the feeling she was going to retire a lot of songs anyway on her next tour. If there will be 3 albums then she will be able to do an entire new set list with barely any songs from albums before Renaissance. That's even more exciting to me. Imagine if she doesn't have to ever single Halo, Crazy in love etc.. live again, that'd be a complete new experience for the fans.

These the main standouts I can see becoming singles now or eventually. 
 

If she decides going the urban route after the second single. Heated and Thique (maybe throw a remix with a rapper) could blow up.

I still dont think Bey is going to tour anytime soon so i really dont see how a tour is involved in a ''3 part project recorded during the pandemic''. It doesn't even make sense to me. At this point her team would start to book venues and people would leak it but nothing yet so early 2023 still no tour. I just dont think she is interested in being out there catching Covid, monkeypox, polio LMAO!
