I want to see the video of church girl. I'm imagining her in a white dress visiting sunday service, then there's a cut and when the chorus starts we can see her twerking and having the best time. I don't know if it would be controversial if she twerked in the church or if the twerk scenes would be at a house party or the club.

Yay for Cuff It getting its rightful main character moment. I watch A LOT of reaction videos and it got people instantly moving. No matter the race, creed, gender...it was instantly loved. 

 

I love Alien and rooting for it to get its/a moment, but that can come video time or organically alongside Cuff It. IMO, it wouldn't work on radio as it is. They'd need to have that spoken word intro go right into the chorus ("I'm too classy for...") and then let the verses commence. In its current form, it takes way too long to get to radio candy that is the chorus. That said, maybe radio doesn't even matter for a song like that, when its success can be driven by digital/viral popularity.We'll see.

 

But Cuff It for the win IMO.

 

A reason I really don't want them to fumble the bag with this is because as Chart Hive it's not lost on me that since turning a corner with ST Bey does not get multiple top 10s hits per album. The self-sabotage ("art not charts") has been real and we've seen otherwise easy smashes sit outside the top 10 for no reason other than not being properly pushed (7/11, Sorry, etc).  

 

She's in a position where for the first time in over 10 years, people are most excited about the music. Play her cards right and songs like Cuff and AS will be part of her forever repertoire.

Third, yall are doing SR wrong. The fact it had 1.3 mio streams yesterday despite being the last song shows people are also into it. 

 

Anyway, Cuff It is more instant, but tbh its not the song that is going to age best. There are more intricate songs on the album.

Withthe critical and commercial success, this could be the third time she leads the GRAMMYs nomination following I Am...Sasha Fierce's 10 nominations and Lemonade's 9 nominations. 

 

On top of that, the BB YEAR END and IFPI list is going to be so competitive with Bad Bunny, Adele, Harry, Drake and possibly Taylor dominating. There's no need to worry though, she's up against Taylor, Gaga, BEP, Britney, Pink in 2009 and again Adele, Drake, Justin Bieber, Rihanna in 2016. The way she went from competing with The Spice Girls to Bad Bunny 

 

Edit: I forgot she had 9 during Savage/The Gift/Black Parade era so this is the fourth time.

I definitely agreed. POTS (and VG) should be sent to R&B playlist and radio, it could be the new Love On Top. She should submit them for Grammys for Traditional R&B record as well.

Not compared, just by itself. 

It was my favorite song at the time before she even performed it live. Of course she elevates it live but I disagree with the idea that the studio version is bland and uninspiring. 

POTS and Virgo's Groove could become RnB classics. I just don't know if we have enough time for the music this era to settle before she moves on to another act. So will they be sent to radio, promoted?

She said shes been working 3 years on the acts. 3 YEARS! She did Homecoming/Beychella in a matter of 8 months. To give u a perspective.

The physical copies of the album have act i written all over them. She wouldn’t she do that and make acts ii and iii a tour and a visual, it makes no sense 

I'm still just playing the full album. I have my fave tracks like everyone else but the entire album is just so good that I haven't been replaying or skipping anything.
