  1. Late to the discussion about her (lack of?) strategy, but I wonder if one aspect ppl are failing to consider is oversaturation/overexposure, which iirc she did get criticized for in the late 00s which I always felt played a part in 4 underperformance. I think she's being very careful with the early rollout given, again, we're getting three full length albums in about ~1-1.5 years. I would not be surprised if she's saving the public appearances more for after Act 2/3 are out. Btw, club/dance music tends to speak for itself, as seen with BMS. I think... hope(?) she knows Act 2 will need promo to stick the landing and really "sell it", if the rumors about sound/genre are correct. That being said, yes, please officially service CI/AS to radio, release the visuals, etc.
  2. Also y'all hang it up. This era is done, singles-wise. It's just visuals in the next month, and then waiting for Act 2. The bag was fumbled with Cuff It which should've been pushed right away with album release, Alien Superstar which should be getting pushed right about now riding the viral popularity & leading up to a showstopping VMA performance, and Heated which could've been a perfect Fall smash... But oh well, we made out better than expected with BMS. I'm just pleasantly surprised she didn't remove it from streaming during album release week like she probably wanted to
  3. This is news to me Chloe is just objectively a bit cringe, in the way we all were at her age. We just didn't have our Myspace or whatever profiles followed by millions of ppl. I think the image problems will fade once she has a proper huge breakout era. Then she'll also feel less pressure to try so hard to cultivate an image.
  4. The way I would say the exact opposite TWOTW has higher highs for me, but more filler - DF is classic after classic (other than T-Skip)
  5. Elon almost did it (Twitter would have to die)
  6. This album is so perfect as is, I really don't need any remixes. Like even the madonna one, I don't really use... like I'll support remixes for additional streams/sales, but there's nothing even bruno/silk sonic could add to cuff it, for example, that would make me like the song any more
  7. Don't stop buying and streaming Break My Soul chi ?
  8. If this actually pans out, Beyoncé is a mad genius like never doubt her again y'all
  9. I don't know who said it, but I highly doubt the Grammys have much impact on what she's choosing to do with this project. Like I think she cares enough to submit, but that's about it... plus Adele is up, and we all know how that's gonna go (despite the albums not even being in the same stratosphere qualitatively, but that doesn't matter) If she did care about releasing for the Grammy's, saving act 2 & 3 for next year's eligibility period makes the most sense. Act 1 will stand well enough on its own from the hype, strong reactions/positive reception, and chart success. From what I've heard, Act 2 is likely to be main category Grammy bait, and Act 3 not at all, so bundling them together makes sense.
  10. This proves literally nothing some ppl just can't admit they were wrong. Makeup is touched up during shooting all the time Also what is the point of their tweet? We're going to be "very surprised"... how? Bc its a double? Which would obviously be for Bey's project anyway? They probably were one of the ones who said it wasn't her bc they thought the ass was flat or something
  11. Not y'all still doubting mother It should be clear from the snippets posted having the exact same composition that's a very small part of the visual direction.
  12. Well way before we had any music, there was an article iirc that said Renny was going to be house/dance & country. We (or at least I) expected something like Lemonade with genre-blending in one album. But now that we're semi-confirmed to be getting multiple albums, and the first part of that statement has more or less been on the mark, we’re all making the educated guess the source was maybe a bit confused or misquoted, and there is a country album. We also know it's something she's willing to dabble in, judging by Daddy Lessons + CMA appearance, and arguably hints such as the rodeo themed Ivy Park, prevalence of horses, etc. But just like "house" is around the ballpark, but doesn't properly describe Act 1, "country" could mean anything from country-rock, to old school style, cover(s), hell even with some gospel thrown in. Or half country half something else (rock, blues, etc are all adjacent genres). Saddle up, boo
  13. So now the locals know what we been knew, which is that it is multiple albums. I'm nervous about the public reception to Act 2 given what we know about the genre. I think if she pulls that off, it will be one of the defining moments in her career. Not that this hasn't been already, thus far. That's also part of why I'm thinking there's been no performances and stuff. Like ppl think she's being elusive, but it's possible she needs a refresher on act 1 since there's so much material
  14. Omg how can she do this to us I'll be counting the days/ hours/ minutes
