If she wanted to do a full, 2-Disc Cowboy Carter collector's repackage (with the limited-edition vinyl/CD versions of "Riiverdance", "II Hands II Heaven" and "Tyrant" in their rightful places), plus two new "conventionally-country" songs placed into the first half (Disc 1 ending after "Alligator Tears"), and one new, more experimental track on the second disc..... two birds, one stone.

What is it about Dance For You that keeps it atop of her top songs on AM? It's obviously a fan favorite, but I know it ain't streaming at the same rate as at least a dozen other songs.

It did not, as she appeared on "Sorry Not Sorry" with Hov, Nas, DJ Khaled, and James Fauntleroy, which debuted in the Top 40 of the Hot 100. While she wanted to be difficult and got credited as "Harmonies By The Hive"....  she still technically made it to the charts in 2021.

There isn't much I take real issue with when it comes to B because her enterprise is a well-oiled machine at this point, but to initially market the CDs as having "a bonus, exclusive track" and then find out on delivery we're actually missing FIVE instead was very unprofessional.

 

It felt like I spent money on a Weeknd or Nicki Minaj album in 2024, or it was one of those Chris Brown / Shakira / JLo tours where the tour date is cancelled when fans are flying to the city.  Just didn't expect that from her. I hope she makes it right.

Boy am I glad she won her juried Emmy a few weeks ago, stayed home tonight, and didn't take the Emmys bait.  Most of us knew all the trophies were going to SNL 50, but I remember some naive members thinking moving her awards to the main show was a good thing (as if we've never watched the Grammys).

It irks me a bit looking at my CD shelf and seeing the digipak for Renaissance next to the jewel case for CC because it looks out of place. Wish she would've kept the same physical format since it's a trilogy project.

Vinyls are more lucrative I guess

I just listened to James Blake's "When We're Older" since it came up as a recommendation and automatically assumed fave had sampled it. 

 

 

Otherside is severely underrated. Top 3 of her ballads.

Beyonce can finally rest easy now.

Out Queen had to literally CARRY the industry on her back these past decades in terms of iconic performances, but having seen the VMAs last night, we finally have capable performer again.

 

Now i only hope Bey will grace the VMAs one last time once the Trilogy is wrapped up and shows the new, very talented crop how its ultimately DONE.

Last night was a true success for the VMAs which will for sure raise their profile again after so many flop years

apparently she's going to some casino thing in Atlantic City next saturday that Jay and Michael Rubin are hosting. if we're lucky we'll get a grainy pic of the the back of her head or her foot or something.

 

if she wears a cowboy hat we'll know the "era" isn't over yet. never a dull moment stanning this woman
