What i think is crazy is that NOTHING has truly leaked, no plan information, or anything.  We can't even be sure that the small virgo's grove clip that came out wasn't AI, or what that was actually for if not.

the primetime emmys are this sunday. the ones last weekend were the creative arts emmys for the behind the scenes work. she is nominated for best variety special still and the award will be broadcast during the tv ceremony.

I really wish she'd give us one new track to close the CC era with. Even a Tyrant remix when the song was gaining traction would have sufficed but hey.

Kendrick won for musical direction, beyonce bowl was not in that category. SNL 50 won pretty much everything it was nominated for as expected. But bey is an EMMY winner..a primetime emmy winner. That is what matters

Pop culture seems so dead right now, or at least fractious.  You could make the argument I'm just getting older (please don't), but even from looking at Celebria and the news in general it seems obvious things are being broken down into niches and subgroups unlike ever before.  I don't know if there will ever be a definitive song of the summer again. 
 

Very few artists can command the cultural zeitgeist in the way Bey can, and I appreciate that she sparks conversations and true engagement in her art, not just clicks and numbers.  
 

I think a lot of people who hate her now will one day look back and pretend they always loved her, as they opine about the good old days.

She's not showing up....at all. LMAO. She did not show up in 2016 when she was nominated as well and she had a better shot then.

The only way I can see her showing up is if she wants to kick off a new era with a new wig

Theres a solid chance she'll show at the Emmys. For a few reasons.

 

She hasnt acknowledged her Emmy win, yet. So even if she doesn't win on the night, she'll still be a 2025 Emmy winner and will get the chance to post pictures of her holding her BeyBowl emmy in her red carpet outfit at the end of the evening.

 

It could also be a good opportunity to re-appear at the end of the Cowboy Carter era, stepping back outside either to announce a new era (with a new style) or to start rolling out information about the Cowboy Carter Tour Film.

 

This isn't like 2016. She's already a winner. So she can walk into that room happy and celebrating regardless of what happens on the night.

 

And we know she wants the EGOT, so this win will have been important for her.
