it's funny you say this because with Renny, all we had was grainy Dubai footage of old songs. This time around we got a whole halftime show for the album.

 

I think we know a bit more this time. but in either scenario, we didn't know what to expect. she likes to surprise torture and edge her fans

I would think similarly but I feel like a horse suits country more so it seems like that could have been first? Or maybe not. Maybe her deciding to have the horse on the cover for Cowboy Carter too really was a last minute decision despite that seemingly unbelievable to me.

i think she knew she had to do something. since the album isnt so energetic. plus us having a longer wait time from the album to tour.

I wonder how many streams Drunk In Love Live in Dubai would have if she uploaded it to Spotify. Keep in mind Miley Cyrus' live covers of Zombie and Heart of Glass had hundreds of millions of streams after going viral on tikertoker.

Can't wait for the looks  Not the biggest fan of Ty's styling, but he was only added to the team a month ago, so Shiona and Karen will for sure be styling most of it, thank god.

that tells me that she always was shooting all of it at the same time from the start and was always planning to drop 1 big visual feast for all three acts after they all got released 

 

it's probably why she introduced visuals to act ll lyric vids compared to the fully blacked out rennie lyric vids, next step is full on music vids for act lll, issa deliberate choice to give away more of it each time 

The tea has always been that she made a film for each act - a series of films - but yes they're all connected

Actually at this point I'm more excited to get whatever she does to explain the creative process for this decade long project. A documentary, a book, audiologs. I want to see how this was made, and I think showing that side will help her fight back the narrative of why things like the visuals took so long.
