  • It was the best concert of my life, bar none. Idc!    It was extraordinary, it was ineffable.  I knew I loved it based on the videos but I... Hey I don't know.    Best moment

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

Is this the same thing as the tour book they sold at the RWT? I'm thinking of going to the show in Maryland so I might get the book there instead. :dancehall:

Does anyone else want Halo back on the setlist? I kinda miss it, it's such a vocal moment :jonny:

I've said it before and I know it's kinda controversial but her recent concert films completely miss the mark. They don't feel like actual performance recordings, they're more like Beyoncé playing the role of Beyoncé in some hollywood production than a live concert experience.

LIBAD is the last one that worked for me. That being said, both Homecoming and RWT could be deleted from existence and I wouldn't care. I watched them when they were released and never touched them again. I thankfully have the live broadcast of Coachella from weekend 1 saved on my laptop and there's some recordings of RWT that I saved from YouTube as well (even though they're incomplete).

I wouldn't mind if she did something to update it slightly. Imagine singing it after II Hands II Heaven.

Renaissance's book was 30€ more expensive on tour and I believe this has more pages and better quality paper from the description tho. :katie:

I agree with you. The raw live stream of Beychella >>>>>> homecoming

I saw that Mariel (Parkwood A&R) is following Danja and this got me a lil' excited. I know he did Shining but I would love to hear an Electronic/Pop/Rock track made by him

Actually I agree with you. The whole Homecoming and Renaissance documentaries are just documentaries about live shows, which is why their visibility or people's interest in them will be limited. I would rather she also uploaded the full shows instead of this.

It just occurred to me that Pink and Kelly Clarkson would be perfect for a soft pop rock moment on ACT 3.

We know Beyonce albums will take a genre and do every single thing she can within that genre so if she's doing a soft rock duet moment, they would be perfect

The Beyoncé experience, the Wynn Las Vegas are two of her best live concert recordings in my opinion BECAUSE they leave the stage performances largely untouched and uninterrupted with monological musings and retain the energy of the live show

I don't think the world could handle the joint forces of Bey and Kelly's vocals. :WAP:

ariana's short film not even getting 7M views after nearly 3 weeks :rip:

this is the fate that awaits the visuals if she just randomly dropped them off on youtube

sometimes I forget we live in very different realities.

Homecoming is easily the best live album anyone has ever produced and the film has replay value, too.

RWT simply clears because it's her best tour visually and sonically. it blows all her pre-stadium tours out the water.

but to each their own, I guess :foxaylove2:

it was kinda bad I fear. no replay value, mostly quite boring. I say this as a big Ariana fan.

why she hasn't released the videos individually yet is beyond me. could have given "twilight zone" and "dandelion" a little push.

I was specifically talking about the movies, which the original tweet was about.

The live album is great and so is the actual RWT show, but the professional footage that was officially released did not stick the landing in my opinion. I strongly dislike the chaotic editing with different outfits and makeup, aspect ratios, s8 filters, and switching between black & white and RGB, sometimes all during the same performance. I find it all very distracting and it takes away from the greatness of her actual performance.

We all know Bey loves messy editing, but I lowkey believe that's what kept Lemonade from winning any Emmys.
