I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

I see people talking of tour leaks on Twitter, but I am unable to find any tour leaks on Twitter

i also agree with the levi's stuff, it's such a missed opportunity. i really don't know why she hadn't designed an exclusive line to accompany the launch of the tour. these little ad's are boring and non-eventful.

The surprise:

It's cancelled, but RWT movie is out on Netflix so go watch that instead. We won! :jonny:

levi jeans partnership would be much more interesting if they released limited pieces... like a denim cowboy hat, that way she can say these pieces are tailored for the cowboy carter tour

exactly, it is a missed opportunity!

2 more weeks, phaguettes.

I made sure to get the day off after the first night so if the show runs late in Central Time, I don't have to worry about waking up early.

levii's is not a missed opportunity. the opportunity was for beyoncé to get paid handsomely for a couple 5 second clips, and she took it.

Why do I have a feeling she is somehow going to sneak Single Ladies (Put a Condom On It) on to the setlist?

This should be shown whenever people say Bey cant dance and just shakes her ass cause lordt does this look amateur compared to what Bey does.

I'm curious as to what the vision for the campaign was, because they're not super viral, not super interesting and - ultimately - the budget and production seems very elaborate for a combined 45-seconds of content

She could have released this song tbh. FYWB's song and video are just too good.

I hope Otherside and FYWB get their flowers one day.

I was wondering if the aesthetic for the tour will be literally what we saw at the NFL Xmas game?

I can see her using that as a practice launch for a stadium show.

Also, it would be SO innovative to remove the floor seats and do a bigger show on the field, that could be so freaking iconic and game changing.

NO stage, use the floor like at the game. Or have set pieces that move like Madonna used.

Is it just me, or does it feel like Lizzo has been reading all the act iii theories and got a premature head start on reclaiming rock music? She's starring in a movie about Rosetta Tharpe, posting about how "Black people made rock 'n' roll," just performed a rock-inspired set during her IN REAL LIFE show, and you can't tell me "Don't Make Me Love You" doesn't sound like Tina Turner's "The Best"—which many fans speculate Beyoncé might reference in some form for act iii.

I don't know, it just feels off to me. Like it didn't come from a genuine place for Lizzo, but more from a "let me try and get ahead of the curve" kind of perspective. s:wan:
