Don't hate me but I would not mind If I Were a Boy back.

 

 

Now that I think about it, most songs that we want on the setlist are either ballads or midtempos though : Irreplaceable, Daddy Lessons, All Night, Halo and IIWAB. That's a lot of slow leaning songs for an album that is already slow-leaning. 

 

They would really fit nicely, I wonder what she'll be pick and how she'll make it work. 

 

I think Diva will probably stay, she needs a bunch of uptempos too.

iiwab is a hit and fits the aesthetic of CC imo.

I was rooting for Diva to be CUT since FWT but now I want it to stay. The RWT performance and the viral moment made me enjoy it for the first time in a decade, and there would surely be some viral moments from the tour if she performs it. She definitely shouldn't perform it in a mashup with RTW and Formation tho. That's tired. But I do agree that some of the songs she always performs need to leave the setlist and hits like IIWAB and Irreplaceable and some deep cuts need to make a comeback. I loved the opening ballads on RWT, but all of them should be cut now along with most of the Ren tracks 

 

I also think she missed the opportunity to include Beautiful Liar and Baby Boy on RWT. She could've included them on that tour and retired them later

Yes, I wonder why she pays complete dust to Baby Boy, it was one of her longest #1s.

wdym complete dust ? Ren was the first concert of hers in two decades where she didn't perform it

It stayed longer than Irreplaceable, Halo and Single Ladies, let alone Check On It. The only songs she performed more are Crazy In Love and Naughty Girl

Really? For some reason I felt like I hadn't heard it in so long but tbh I missed FWT and I wasn't online at the time so I don't know what she performed there.

yes she did it at that verizon ladies tour for DIL, beyoncé experience, i am tour, mrs carter, both OTR tours, FWT and homecoming 

 

during FWT it was sandwiched between Mine and Hold Up (which btw was a top tier act, now THAT was a setlist )

FWT and OTR II are two tours I missed. The latter was done on purpose but I'm still sad I couldn't go to FWT. I'm still waiting for the DVD and I haven't consumed any spoiler in relation to that tour. 

Hmmm for some reason I thought she hadn't performed it in more than a decade lol. 

Still, I hope it comes back eventually after she's done with the 3 acts.

I'd love a Brian Eno production, based on his work with Talking Heads. They introduced a lot of african rhythms and influences in their music. A Talking Heads sample (kind of like Mariah's Tom Tom Club sample on Fantasy) would be cute too.

 

Brian Eno also worked on Grace Jones' Hurricane which Bey obviously checked for Renaissance.

There's the tiniest chance next year for its 10 year anniversary but I wouldn't bet any pennies on it...

 

She didn't even do anything for her debut's 20th anniversary which is a bigger and more notable milestone. 

 

But maybe one day
