Beyoncé (and Blue) might be working there for another 5 years.

Beyoncé loves a female rapper co-sign. Lil Kim, Lauryn Hill, Missy Elliott, Nicki, Trina, Meg, Cardi, Azealia Banks, Tierra Whack, Ice Spice, Glo, Coi Leray, Doechii, Melii, and the list goes on and on.

 

I even remember back when Brianna Perry was front-and-center on Beyoncé's website with her "Marilyn Monroe" video for a few months:

 

After opening for RWT, and her AHAP remix gaining some traction online, I'm sure Doechii was already on Beyoncé's radar well before the breakout this year.

The reseller for my halftime ticket couldn't go through with my original ticket but is offering another seat where she's actually facing me AND a $100 discount. Disease- OUT and now I am no longer facing behind her. Oh I keep winning.

I can see her somehow announcing... something during/at the end of her halftime show.

With the recent RIAA updates, it seems that a lot of the Renaissance and Cowboy Carter related certifications are not too far off from what her Spotify streams are; is that correct? Would you say that Spotify makes the large bulk of Beyoncé's total album and single sales (for her most recent releases)? 

I know Apple Music doesn't release streaming figures, but if Renaissance for example had 3,000,000 streams on Spotify, do we assume that the Apple Music #s are in the same range or do we assume they're much less? And would this vary from artist to artist, different genres, etc?

 

And lastly, is it safe to say that both Rihanna and Beyonce have now sold more records in the US than Madonna, Mariah, Janet, and Whitney?

RIAA certifications only consider consumption from the United States.

 

Here, Apple Music and Spotify are really close overall, but Beyoncé tends to perform better on Apple Music. They do not release numbers, unfortunately, so we can't know the exact distribution between Spotify/Apple/Amazon/Other. YouTube also counts towards it.

 

Apple Music in the US tends to favor hip-hop/R&B/Black artists more than Spotify. I'm not fully sure why the demographics split this way, but they do. Take this flop Gaga single, for instance (just because the comparison graph I made is easily available lol — r.i.p. disease streaming thread). Spotify US was way nicer to it than Apple Music US, where it dropped out of the Top 200 in 9 days.

I've loved that song since the first listen and it still sounds perfect to me. Some people just dont like Post being near Bey but it's silly. They are both artists and they actually had chemistry on the record, i would be interested to hear more from them.  Same for her and Miley. It's not surprising though that she sounds good with artists that have a southern background. They just get each other in that way i guess. I wouldn't be mad if both were guests during the halftime. The one i dont care for is Shaboozey. I like the records he is on the album but i dont like the way Nashville used that guy to blast Beyoncé. It left a bad taste in my mouth and he was way too happy to play that little game with them.

Speaking of Delresto does anyone else consider it part of the acts universe? I do kinda see it as a part of it all bc why else does the single art have so many references to Renaissance.

 

 

Maybe it's included in the visuals and it will all make sense one day lol.

 

Edit: And only now I just noticed if you look at the page numbers on the newspaper there's a "Page 29" and a "Page 4". I guess 4 since it's her number and 29 bc Rennie/CC were both released on the 29th. Her mind.
