Yea. . . The visuals are definitely licensed through Netflix. This just feels like confirmation of them coming after the halftime show.

Y'all, I think we finally have made it, backwards from how we started, but we've definitely made it️There isn't anything left with the tour axed AND the residency cancelled, her only plans are to sit at home drinking rice milk and draw oil paintings.

If there are 3 different films, best plans are to premiere the three as a mini series, but I feel like she'd premiere all three separately. But, the best place to shop your 3 passion projects would be to the streaming you are currently in contract to. Just like Tyler Perry, she could use the films releases to milk a partnership with Netflix. It also gives her the opportunity to be as creative as she wants without having to consider different aspects that stunts her art.

I would say let's not get delusional, but at this point, she'd be purposely making us delusional, because all of this definitely leads one to believe Netflix has the visuals!

It's giving the 1983 horror cult classic, Christine. Something about this "preview," especially with the revving sound, is very reminiscent of many scenes in the film. It's also a little eery and from multiple theories online, the visuals may be a little eccentric; similar to The Who's/Michael Jackson's/Jordan Peele's films. :psyduck:

I hope you all are right, because getting chapter one of Echoville on Netflix on Christmas would be quite the gift

i honestly don't expect anything after the performance. getting visuals this "soon" feels way too good to be true :rip:an extra CC song/remix/this era's My House would make more sense and be more realistic tbh

I agree.

She's taken us through the ringer, but at this point dropping visuals feels like the most likely/logical scenario.

I don't know if I buy that a live "something" isn't coming eventually/imminently, but if Yvette says a tour won't be announced following Halftime...then, yeah, it has to be the visuals she'll be pushing.

At this point, I hope it's an announcement that finally ends the "visuals" mystery to the effect of:

"Beyonce announces Echoville, her most ambitious and expansive visual adventure yet. The unprecedented blah blah blah will chronicle her three album arc and will arrive in three chapters, cementing her as the premier visual artist of her time blah blah".

Chapter One: Cowboy Carter

Chapter Two: The Renaissance

Chapter Three: TBC

Harnessing the Halftime buzz and pairing it with the long-awaited launch of the visuals (or visual series) works as the perfect lead into a CC tour announcement (not that she *needs* a lead-in. But it helps all the same).

Overall, I'm just glad she seems to be firmly in partnership with Netflix. It's "the" best platform for her and for reach and virality in general. Our girl is a capitalist queen, so I've long been nervous (and still am) that she would go to a rival service that would probably pay more (to compete) but have less impact (Prime, Max, Paramount etc).

how I wish this photo was a cover. a limited vinyl perhaps

Yes, I'm also glad she didn't put her Netflix connection to rest after years of speculation whether the deal is still intact. Just as a reminder, by Q3 2024 Netflix had 282.7M subscribers, almost double that of Disney+. Netflix's global reach and vitality is 2nd to none in the streaming industry.

i really love how beyoncé stands 10 toes behind her art, you'd never see her tack random **** like perfect or savage onto albums just bc she's scared they'll flop

She indeed would never

I expect for her to release something for purchase. Capitalist Carter will have her payday with so many eager watchers willing to spend their Xmas money on something for her riding the wave of the Christmas show.

I'm glad she'll never be a person who would put Savage Remix on RENAISSANCE just to get some quick lil' streams. That's the reason she's where she is now. She would never sacrifice her artistic vision just because something would benefit her. That's the most important thing about her art since 4

I don't know what even to expect. I hope it's not a yee haw fest though

It's been so interesting ruminating on Halftime with fellow stans both online and offline. There's such an interesting divide.

Here and on socials, all the dream setlists etc are very CC-centric. Yet, a constant I hear offline from fans equally as dedicated as us is the desire for more than just CC songs. I guess a point that highlights that the album can't rival Rennie in terms of its GP appeal (which was never going to really happen in being a "Beyonce Country album". A concept that, up until this year, almost sounded like an oxymoron).

I personally sit in the middle and want her and whoever is music directing this to go ALL OUT. Punch-ins of classics (CIL, DIL etc), sprinkles of Rennie, all within the "world" and soundscape of what we know to be a CC-heavy show.

I wish I was as convinced as some of you that visuals were coming on Christmas, but I truly think she's gonna give a powerhouse performance, and then exit the stage and that's it.  We'll be lucky if they upload the performance to Netflix standalone afterward.

Oh it's going to be full CC setlist imo, I meant more so the theme.

Same.  There is no indication that visuals are coming, and for what?  Why would she release them in the middle of the ACTs trilogy?

Looks like the grinch in Lemonade

All I know is the Doechii collab is being worked on as we speak.

Theres NO way Bey and Jay havent taken notice of Doechii after the Grammy noms, and after seeing that TinyDesk performance there's no way Bey didnt hit her up.

She represents everything Bey adores - new approach, upcoming artists, focus on craftsmanship, black female perspective and perfection, a performer.

Doechii sounded incredible on Catfish in her set, which has quite the Rock feel. I just know shes going to explode next year and Bey will be the one to push her into stardom (just like she did with Shaboozey).
