I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

Can't speak for anyone else, but I never said or insinuated that the visuals were coming on Christmas Day or after Christmas. I said it looks like Netflix has been licensed to premiere them, how ever she wants to premiere them, whenever she wants to premiere them. It definitely makes sense and is the most logical.

Y'all were literally foaming at the month, more than sure that 2 Halloween costumes and a speech at a voters rally were her signaling she's moving on to a rock, funk, Motown infused album for Act III. By this logic we'd have a Lil Kim and Toni Braxton album ☠️ 🤣🤣

Nah, it was more like a confirmation of the tea we have ever since Renaissance dropped in 2022 with Amazon Italia spilling its a 3-act-project where shes reclaiming Dance/House, Country and Rock.

And to be fair, shes been hinting at Rock for a while.

Im still team visuals or lead of Act 3 are happening, but I'm not gonna be disappointed if its "just" a great performance

Visuals are not dropping on Christmas Day. That much I think is clear, but a trailer or some announcement is certainly possible and would be very opportune

We are getting a performance of epic proportions. It will be enough to further cement her long running legacy. I wouldn't put it past her to release nothing music or tour related on Christmas Day. Some heavy Sir Davis promo as THEE new years drink is where I'm setting my expectations. I wouldn't leave anything off the table tho. We love to act like we're a neglected fan base that gets nothing but scraps per era these days, but when she feeds… she overfeeds.  :coffee:

Lmfaooooo

March 26 and March 28 lookalike so it could actually be mean March 28th and that is a friday in 2025:bird:

Honestly, releasing the visuals of CC as part 1 a week after the performance January 1st would be perfect. People are usually hungover anyway and stay at home, so why not give them something to watch

I know someone already posted this but I've been listening to this all morning :jonny2:

I'm team #AllCCHalftime but if she wants to open with this I won't be mad. Realistically, I expect a RWT type situation of 80/20 album v. catalog

Halftime is 9 minutes long.

And we know she will have surprise guests...hmmm

this a) doesn't make sense as it's way too short, especially if guests are involved and b) that account constantly spreads any and every rumor they see, i'll believe it when i see it

c) i looked up their "source" and they haven't said this anywhere :rip:

Idk how reliable they are…

9 minutes sounds reliable. Usual halftime for SuperBowl is around 20-25 min and the performance is 12 min. If this one is 15 min, a 9 min performance will be it. :michael:

It was posted here at some point.

Netflix has been involved for a bit with this project though, they were present at the big Rennie party in Paris which was being filmed

This was at Kelly's Mea Culpa premiere. Yvette is also Kelly's publicist and the film was for Netflix.

people posting the same things over and over in here, y'all are going round in circles, round in circles :deadbanana:

Were the rumors about them extending this halftime unconfirmed? I think people were equating the extension to an extension of the Super Bowl timing and expecting a 20 minute show, but we probably should have been thinking of a regular halftime extension. So maybe she will have about 12 minutes to perform.

9 sounds a bit short for her.

9 minutes does seem short, especially with all of the attention they're giving it.

I'm sure the budget isn't the same as the typical Superbowl show, but I assume that the production will be large since it's a Beyonce show

I would have swiped that package as fast I could, flipped off Yvette, and then ran my ass to a remote location so I can see what it is and just go from there.

From my understanding, the only genres Amazon Italy announced were Dance and Country. They never said anything about Rock, Funk or the influence of Rock & Roll. Ppl latched on to Rock AND Rock & Roll because the article mentioned a three act trilogy celebrating black musical arts and culture, including many samples.

Even when pointed out she's used certain songs, specifically "They Say I'm Different", it's still specifically tied to a BTS video to promote her cover story and whiskey, which was still furthering the promotion and aesthetics of "COWBOY CARTER". Using Betty Davis for a Halloween costume, be it photographed a good while before Halloween, is still low hanging fruit.

And one could argue her saying "it's time for America to sing a new song" is blatantly her playing on the nose since she is a singer/songwriter at a voters rally for the American election, lol. Like, it doesn't mean anything, it's just a corny line. If I were going to attach its relevancy to a song or album, it would easily be "AMERIICAN REQUIEM.

Not to say a 'Beyoncé' rock album is not happening, but how can we take these few crumbs of nothing seriously? These aren't things she hasn't done during other eras.
