A hot straight white male was on live and playing a DC song in the background and didn't know the names of the other members. He then asked if Beyonce's in trouble or just her husband with "the diddler." He appeared to be an open-minded geepee that doesn't keep up with things, but briefly saw the news story last week. I immediately informed him that she's good and so is her husband and now all is well.

It's a bop that got her her first solo top 10 on the rap charts, peaked at #2 n the dance charts, and remained on there for 19 weeks. Nothing to scoff at. When all is said and done, I hope she releases a boxed set with all of the bonus tracks of these eras:

I hope she adds it to "The Gift" (Deluxe Edition).

It desperately needs some streams, and hopefully this can push the project to 1B streams.

 

Does anyone else remember Pharrell being tied to a soundtrack version of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" with Chance The Rapper in 2019 that never came to fruition? Or was that a fever dream?

But wasn't the soundtrack for Mufasa released already? Why would Disney then release a stand alone single after the fact? It's not making sense to me

The way I couldn't enjoy the song on the massive movie speakers cause everyone immediately got up and left (premiere night) after appearing to not like the song, the lights turned on, workers came in to vacuum before the song reached the second half, and my armpits were funky so I didn't want to dance without being smelt.
